What the fuck do these guys mean by staring at me from their car while at a red light?

We were in the car and stopped at a red light. Next to us a car stopped packed with teenage boys. One girl was driving. The dude in the front (both of our windows down) just stared at me and we stared at eachother for what seemed like 5 minutes but it was probably a few seconds... His facial expression was hard to describe. His mouth was slightly open and he kind of looked like he was taking a shit but like he was also trying to intimidate me or something. It just made me feel fuckin weird! To make it worse he turned around and started saying something to his pals in the back. That's when the driver also decided to look at me. She looked away when I caught her. What the hell was that? The last time a guy stared at me like that it was this guy that used to pick on me. What am I supposed to think of this? What did he mean by that? :( I feel like I need an answer it makes me kinda sad for some reason.
