Do I need to be more aggressive when pursuing women?

Like, keep asking them out etc until they tell me to my face 'no I don't want to go out?'

Ive never had a girlfriend and am really inexperienced with these types of things. Normally I don't tell the girl straight up 'I want to go out with you', I'm usually really vague due to my low confidence/self-esteem. Id provide an example but its kinda long...

From the questions I read here, it seems like a lot of girls want the guy to show genuine interest and actively pursue her - not give her a very very vague indication he might like her and then roll over and die after this. But at the same time, I don't want to keep harassing her if she just doesn't want to hurt my feelings

Understand that for a girl, it's simply not best for her to say yes so quickly after you meet her. Look at it from her perspective. If she does accept your advances quickly, she knows that BOTH society and YOU will be judging her a certain way.

If she likes you, the last thing she wants to do is inadvertently make you think she is easy/slutty, someone not to be respected.

It's not to say that all girls will behave like this, but be aware that it's just not as simple as "oh she wasn't receptive, she must not like me"

Also, learn to tell the difference between her saying "i dunno" and her say "NO." The sooner you communicate your interest, verbally, a touch, a kiss, however, the easier that job will become. Some guys don't like to tell a girl that they dig her, but she will always figure it out the longer you stick around to talk to her. Not every girl will like you, as you don't like every girl.

Yes. Just go up and ask her out. If she says no, be like its no thing, and ask the next girl. If you really like one girl, go ahead and keep asking unless she gives a firm answer that she means no and she doesn't want to talk to you. Good luck :)

Just be blunt. Ask her if she would go out with you and if she says no then move on to the next one. Believe me you don't want to waste your time either. Oh and don't beg, it makes you look bad and it makes the girl feel untouchable.
