So me and this guy were working together on some class project & he was helping me with a few things. We got on well and he told me that i looked good last week too. He's five years older than me & I'm 20. I texted him yesterday to say thanks for all the help and best of luck with his operation that he was gonna have and he texted me back to say thanks and take care and he put a winky face at the end. Was this just an emoticon or flirty?

It's probably nothing. He's just a nice dude. If he did it a lot more throughout your texts then that might mean something else lol I know that I use the winky face way to often because guys have been commenting about it and what I mean by em lol They are just cute but they do send certain signals and it's not just women who reacts like you just did.
