Long story short, my best guy friend isn’t the type to kiss people on the cheek at all, it’s not his culture, that’s not what he does with other people or girls or with his family. We have been best friends 7 years and the only time he has kissed me in the cheek was when we were both drunk and he kissed my cheek, neck, and lips (we after decided to stay just friends). Yesterday I gave him an extremely sentimental gift: an engraved dog tag necklace with his favorite quote. He was kind of in awe of it and loved it a lot. He then gave me a hug and, you guessed it, a kiss on the cheek. It wasn’t a peck either. It was long and slow but definitely solid lips on face for an while. I get that kissing on the cheek is generally causal, but all things considered and nothing hat this is it what he does with anyone especially female friends, what do y’all think? Could it mean more?
