He's probably moved on from you relationship-wise which is why he's not talking to you much but he must have some kind of attachment to you still if he feels guilty about something you said. Otherwise, he wouldn't have cared.

Then I said I don't know I was in love with you back then to him. then he said I like you. then I said oh. he said yeah then I send the emotional message then He send me those 4 sad faces emoji’s then I asked him 🤔 r u ok? He said not really then I said oh ok but yeah okay then.

He's dating someone else and yet, he asks if you would date him again if he asked? He really needs to make up his mind on who he wants to be committed to. If he's more into you, he wouldn't be taking his current relationship seriously and could end up damaging it in the process. It was probably for the better that you broke up with him because he's uncertain of what he wants, plus whatever the previous reason was that you broke up with him.
