In a way. When first exposed to it, I do believe taking the “red pill” is kind of revealing the truth to them. Women can be really shitty, and men have good reason to be wary of them in this day and age. Men should be aware of the risk, so I think MGTOW is doing good by spreading the word.

However, it’s when guys become obsessed with MGTOW and deliberately expose themselves to the worst side of women day after day after day that it becomes a major problem. They start thinking there’s no such thing as an exception to the behavior they’ve convinced themselves all women on the planet are guilty of. They also tend to become blind to hypocrisy. I was kinda close with a guy who was really big on MGTOW for a couple months, and he used to have these random fits like every other day where he’d basically just complain about something women do he can’t stand, but I noticed that a surprising amount of these things he pointed out he was guilty of himself.
