Do a lot of guys take long to respond to texts?

This guy that I have been talking to has been consistently texting me for a year but it takes him more than 2 days to respond. Most of our text messages are at least a paragraph long so maybe I am thinking he wants to put thought into it. Is this normal? Would a guy who’s interested in a girl respond right away or does it depend on the person?

Depends on the person. Wouldn't take me 2 days to think of something to text though, maybe he's trying to be like whatever (my daughter said that) & just acting all cool.

The might just be busy, I think it not only depends on the person but what's going on in there life atm.

You shouldn't date guys if you expect texting to be huge deal to them.

It depends the person might be extremely busy but most people text instantly because they r attracted to their phones
