I was walking to basketball practice and when I got by these group of people and all of them were staring at me in silence , then this one guy turned around and got closer to his friends when he seen me we both started staring at each other then he started playing hitting with this one girl and looked me in my eyes. Then when I just started walking away he seemed irritated and told the girl to move then the girl was like dang okay once I was leaving the area they were in.

Yeah, honestly, I wouldn't trust the guy. If he's interested, he's probably only after you physically.

If you want, start casually observing his friends, see what types of people he associates with. It would be helpful to observe his friends rather than him for two reasons:

1. You won't invite him to focus on you.
2. If you're attracted to this guy, you'll be more objective and honest with yourself when assessing his friends than him directly.

By the way. How aware are you of your looks? I get the sense you might be noticably attractive and maybe don't fully realize it.

For a group of guys to stare at you in silence, and then this other guy to stare are you, I imagine you're probably beautiful.

But, I'm not sure if you fully realize it. You're quite young, so maybe you haven't realized what you've grown into. And just how attractive you can be to boys.

I bring this up, because it might be important for you to realize this quickly. Beautiful girls who don't quite see it for themselves can be vulnerable to guys who are up to no good.

The sooner you can recognize how attractive you are, hopefully the sooner you can build your appropriate level of confidence. And my assumption is that you're an unassuming, innocent person.

You'll want to find the same kind of guy. But all the wrong guys will go after you because of your looks. You need to find your confidence so you don't fall prey to their attention and instead hold out for someone as good as you are.

The right kind of guy (sincere, kind and considerate) for you is going to be afraid of you at that age. Those types of guys are generally still very insecure about girls in general, even more so beautiful ones.
