Will a guy change if a prettier girl arrives in the scene?

Guys, say you like a girl and you text her often and just building up friendship with her. Now, if a prettier girl enters the scene (or even shows interest in him), will the guy forget the first girl or show less interest in her?
Please be honest. Can a prettier girl change you?

I don't let looks affect me. If I'm texting with someone that I'm friends with and the 'prettier' girl asks my attention I will engage in a conversation. However, If I'm with a girl, no matter friend or girlfriend, I'm sticking with her. People that I know and care about are more important than a new person.

I have seen a number of men do otherwise tho, so it does seem like I'm in the minority

Not if he genuinely liked and was attracted to the first girl he talking to. For me there is no "prettier", I have a type, a girl either fits that type or she doesn't. If she does and we're getting on well, there's no reason to look at anyone else.

What exactly do you mean by "change me"? If she's prettier, I'd wanna find out more about her, maybe depending on what things were with the first girl I might get to know the prettier one a bit. If I was married to the first girl I would have to avoid the second girl
