What does is mean when a guy calls a girl adorable?

The first time I ran into him and tackled him by accident
Then before I tried again, he said "try not to tackle me this time okay"
Then I said back "No promises!"
Then he smiled and said "You're adorable."
Does is mean anything if he called me adorable... I tend to overthink things, but I'm a girl so that's kinda normal...

I used to call my ex adorable sometimes. Whenever I told her that is was just because I found whatever she was doing at the time was "cute".
Nothing much other than that.

Usually it's associated with cute. Whereas cute would usually represent appearance, adorable would be your actions and behaviour. Basically two sides of the Same coin.
