Guys, We like each other but he won’t ask me to be his girlfriend?

I like this guy and he likes me but he won’t do anything about it. He won’t ask me to be his girlfriend even when we’ve been on a ton of dates. I asked him about where he wants us to go and all he says is I like you. A guy I know asked me to accompany him to his work party. I said I would go (as friends) and the guy I like got jealous and mad. I don’t know why, especially when he won’t do anything to make us official. If we were officially dating I would 100% decline even if it is a guy friend outing. I don't know anymore, what should I do?

What if he’s nervous to ask? He might be afraid of getting rejected or an awkward uncomfortable situation.


People can be clueless sometimes. My friend was was asking me if i could mail her my sweaty shirts and even then i was still like “hmm I don't know if she likes me or not, im afraid ill get rejected” lol
