What does it mean when a guy says "we're friends' right?" and then....?

I was hanging out with this guy I like at a party and when we were alone in the kitchen getting drinks he looks over at me and says, "We're friends right?" I said yes but I thought it was a weird question. He then gets closer to me and tries to kiss me. I move my face because I was confused. He ended up kissing my nose. He just called me a friend it wasn't very sexy of him. He then tried to kiss me repeatedly but I kept bobbing and weaving lmao! He kissed my chin, cheeks, and forehead. He was diving for my face like a nut but I still had that "We're friends right?" stuck in my head. Am I just a play thing to him. I thought we were at least a little more then friends at least. Well, he got a little mad at me and went into the next room and started to flirt and suck face with another girl he just met that night! Right in front of me! I left and he didn't even notice until ten min later though he was drinking. What does "We're friends right?" mean? Help please help lol. ~Foxyfire21

Hey, I don't have a lot of experience. He asked me to go with him to the party. He had been flirting with the girl he made out with by the end of the night the moment we first walked in the door. I figured he was trying to make me jealous so I let it go. Then after an hour of barely talking to me he did that weird kitchen thing. He was more then confussing. I tell him directly lets hang and he gives me mixed signals all the time. Like he wants to but changes his mind at the last second.
