Guy's Behavior

If he says im special to him, does he like me?

My guy friend opened up a lot about deep stuff and he told me doesn't do that to anyone else cos he thinks I'm special, so he opened up to me. Im thinking if he likes me more than a friend?

One day I asked him why he's always posting some "about liking someone and not wanting to lose them" and he said "who knows?" and I asked him to tell me? and he said its about me and someone else but said he's much closer to me. and then he said "Dont worry im not cheating on you" We are not even dating lol why would he say that?
If he says im special to him, does he like me?
