How do I get this creep to stop contacting me?

A friend tried to play matchmaker and gave this guy my number. I met him, had a coffee with him, and red flags were waving right away (he seemed overly needy and desperate) so I blocked his number. That was 2 years ago. Ever since then he has been stalking my social media. I messaged him to stop contacting me. I have a fiance and a baby now. I have had to change my name on social media to a nickname and fake last name, as well as not use face pictures. Now he's stalking me on LinkedIn. Everytime I block him, he creates another account. I would delete my LinkedIn except I'm job hunting and I don't want to have to do that. What gets creeps like this to stop?

That's scary. You should definitely report him to the police. In case anything happens (hopefully nothing does), having a record of this is important.

You probably can't prevent him from making new social media profiles, but you can lock everything down and make it private. LinkedIn gives you the ability to conceal some/most of your info. They also have the option to report harassment or safety concerns. I would strongly suggest you do this.

What the hell.. he seems so desperate it’s scary. Try telling him that you’re not interested instead of blocking him, if he doesn’t go away after that. Report him to the police ask for some help from your friends/family. I’m glad you noticed the red flags soon 🙏🙏
