Having long hair is not a sign of being gay, its just a style option. I get that long hair sometimes gives the vibe that he might be gay, but its not really the hair. When you think about it, I have not seen many gay people who have long hair. But yeah, in conclusion, long hair doesn't mean he is more likely to be gay.

When I thought about it, of the people I've known in real life there's actually zero overlap between long hair and being gay which is actually surprising. Not because I thought long hair would mean gay I assumed wouldn't mean much but if anything it's the opposite. The gay guys I've known have pretty much all had "good haircuts" if that makes sense.

I doubt it. A lot of gay people are usually into whatever is considered fashionable at any given time. A lot of the fashion industry is run by gay men, so it’s logical that other gay guys would mimic them. The effeminate twink ones usually have lesbian hair cuts.
