what does that means? he likes me back?

He probably knows more than you know and doesn't want to lead you on. Trust me when I say, just because people don't say anything, it doesn't mean others cannot sense things. I would suggest you confront him about it especially if he doesn't know, or prepare for what you may not want to hear.

Yes, you can unless you don't know how to talk to people? The question is why are you crushing on this guy and are you uncertain about who he is and what he wants? Why would you say something like that to him to begin with? That is what I do not understand, so what if he does, does he have to date you? Yes or no? Because it sounds like to me either your uncertain you're not happy that you are not with him and he's not giving you attention, or there is something else your not saying. And you need to come to terms with this.

i do like him , ever since we began talking and yes im uncertain because im afraid this is all nothing and he was just messing around.
another reason is that I've never been in the whole dating thing ever before and i really have some major trust issues.
so i can't just assume what in my head is right and base stuff upon it yk? cause he never came admitting these mixed signals or hints , that they are true and he does truly likes me back

Asker, the point is you should have said something sooner. It doesn't matter if you dated before or not, but should you at all, especially him. You need to make sure you and he are compatible. Especially if this guy isn't your friend. You have only known each other for 6 months, but is 6 months enough time for you to know who he is? Otherwise, I don't know, would anybody who is normal would treat you like that if they didn't know? You already have trust issues, I understand as I have them myself. But if you don't come clean you may never have your answers directly. You need to know from him. There is no other way around this.

What you have to understand is that he can feel anything. EVERYBODY can, but that doesn't mean they have to date you or want a relationship. If you can be happy with just knowing that, then that's fine. What is going to hurt the most is when he does feel the same, but doesn't want to. Then what? That is the question. Can you be okay if says yes but doesn't want a relationship with you? Only you can answer that question. It is again, probably you creating a fantasy, no offense of things that isn't there, that you expect that isn't the reality of your reality with these people and person. He probably, again, had a feeling you do but doesn't desire to lead you on and wants you to dissolve those feelings on your own. In other words, to stop chasing him. If he compliments you, he may give you the wrong impression because again, you are already clouded by your crush for him and it can be translated as reciprocation when it's just friendliness.
