As a man lesbians don't turn me on nor do they attract me for one simple reason. I can never have that. I like being able to look my partner in the eyes or to vision myself in the situation with the girl or guy I love. It's just not the same if it's girl on girl because yes they might love each other I could never love nor make love to a lesbian.
I think most guys have different likes and dislikes though and might just like to see two attractive girls going down on each other and that's okay you can't control what you like and dislike. So I think the answer to this is because some guys just like seeing girls and nothing but girls. I'm sure there are other reasons but I don't think I need to explain any further.
For much the same reason the male counterpart is so popular among women, I think: instead of sexy story about one member of your preferred gender (and one of the other), it's about TWO of them, with none of yours to "threaten" your fantasy of enjoying both of them.
i've heard that actually when a woman idolizes 2 men, she will imagine that 2 men love each other and even more so consider her participating in it like play threesome. so i think maybe when a guy likes to read girls love, it comes like that.
