The guy I like don't texts me back meanwhile a friend keeps trying to get in touch with me?

A guy I really like sends me ambiguous signs: he tells me he wants a formal relationship so he will not have sex with me until we start a relationship, gives me presents and one time made the effort to see me nevertheless it was just an hour, but does not text me back and I have to reach him otherwise he never talks to me.

On the other side, a friend confessed me I'm his crush since 2019 and we have had a very nice communication but he is not my type.

Should I try something with my friend and let it go the guy I genuinely like or keep trying with him?

Neither. Tell the guy you like to up his game or you’re out. Tell the friend you’re not into him like that. You don’t date him if you’re not genuinly interested, especially not when he’d obviously into you. That will just end up with him being hurt.

Kinda agree with this. As man, I think the guy you like it's just playing with you. He wants to have you there if he gets bored or something. Any guy that says he want to have a formal relationship with you, make and effort to, at least, text you back. It's not rare that a guy not text you back sometimes, but.. never?

Tell him to up his game or you're out, as she said. But if a guy it's into you since 2019 means he really like you. You could give him a chance, you don't lose anything to hang out a couple of times with him, you could like him back. And if you don't, there's no problem
