I am not sure what qualifies as psychopathic these days any more. But yes the most successful psychopathic people are high functional individuals that have innate ability to connect with and manipulate people through charm and charisma and the more attractive they are the easier it is for them to get past your guards. They make you want to trust them. Look the list of the most successful Sociopaths in the history, not all them are drop dead gorgeous looking people, but most are definitely not straight ugly.

Yes, that's actually been proven in studies. Of course, many don't know their psychopaths in the beginning.

Yes, it's called the Dark Triad of personality traits and is often found to be very attractive as it encompasses a lot of the overtly charismatic characteristics.

As it has been proven that the 'spark' these traits trigger and that most people are conditioned to look for comes from the same area of the brain as the fight or flight fear response, it's actually your body telling you something is wrong with this person and to get out, but we've come to associate it with attraction instead.
