Hi all. Was wondering if anyone had any insight as to why this married man is behaving this way.
So I’ve known him for 8 years and we’ve always had a harmless flirt. Although he has become quite sexual with the flirting at times. He’s acted somewhat cold when his wife has been around and he’s became super jealous when I’ve spoke to his colleagues. He’s said if he was single he would go out with me. He has flirted with me and when it’s got too intense he will say “I’m married”.
He’s always encouraged me to get married and have kids, always asked me if I have a boyfriend etc etc etc.
Recently I’ve got into a serious relationship. I’ve never had a boyfriend before. The guy in question was happy for me when I said I bought a house but when he found out I was buying it with my boyfriend he seemed annoyed. His smile became strained and his tone of voice was grumpy. Also, when he’s seen my boyfriend in supermarkets he’s given him death stares and dirty looks. Why is he being like this? He doesn’t want me/can’t have me so why being jealous?
