Recently, the guy I’ve been talking for awhile to, well we decided to hook up. We had sex and it was very intense for me personally. I like him a lot but we’re both not looking for a serious relationship atm. However after having sex, he held my hand and told me to shower with him. We didn’t do it in the shower, he just held me and my body and gave me so many kisses. All we did was wash each other and kiss each other. I never showered with someone before, and I always felt doing that is a very intimate thing. What does it mean? Is it intimate?

Seems what he's saying and what he's doing aren't matching up. If he said he's not looking for a relationship he's doing a terrible job at showing that. From what you described of what happened in the shower, that sounds pretty intimate.

That’s just sort of normal after sex stuff, sometime you shower together, sometime separately.

i would say sex is fairly intimate, a shower is just part of the afterplay from the sex.

It's as intimate and means the same as sex. You already had that so you can't really read any further in this situation. Maybe he wanted to be affectionate,... maybe he wanted to see you more fully naked?

Okay understandable. But the thing is, I’ve had sex with others before and usually after we immediately put our clothes back on and just shower seperately at our own places. I never had that before. The guy and I were already fully naked. Which I never had before either usually the other guys and myself included would keep our tops on. But for him, we both were fully naked. Maybe it could mean affection. It’s just all new to me.
