Fancying your brothers friend. I feel so awkward?

I fancy my brothers friend. We’ve known each other for years and we had a cheeky kiss when we was at a party together this hasn’t ever happened before. He said he’s liked me for ages but I said you have a girlfriend and we should stop before this goes any further. He said he wants to marry me in the future and I just laughed it off saying you’re just drunk you will regret this tomorrow. The next day he asked if I was ok and I said yeah of course let’s keep this between us. I’m in real bad shock with what happened. I know what I did was wrong and obviously what he did was wrong too so please don’t shout at me. How can I move on from this?

If you really like him, you’ll make yourself miserable if you keep interacting with him while he is still with his girlfriend.
I’ve been there and it’s the worst feeling in the world being a secret side chick.
He must like you and maybe feels awkward about your brother which is understandable but still you need to make some boundaries and when he and his girlfriend eventually split up then go for it! 😉

Just stop being flirty and try to have less or stop any interacting with him. You never know maybe the future something might happen but as of now yes it's best you keep your distance
