Why do attractive guys avoid eye contact with me?

Whenever I walk past an attractive guy, actually not even only attractive guys but average and unattractive guys as well, they all avoid eye contact with me. They either look to the side so that I see their side profile, they look straight forward with their chin up while walking confidently, they look down or they just look at something behind me like a tree or a house.
On the other hand women make eye contact with me ALL the time, some will even be staring.
I don't understand why guys avoid eye contact with me? Am I unattractive or intimidating? Do I look mean? Why did guys do this? Because I wouldn't say that I am EXTREMELY attractive or anything, but I'm not ugly either. I don't dress or walk funny, so why do guys do this? What's the reason?
Is it to humble me?

I think that it's more likely that you're attractive more than unattractive, especially with the reaction you get from girls. Guys are either mostly shy, intimated or don't want to seem rude. A good way to figure out how they feel is looking a bit further down the street when their guard isn't up, and also noticing if they fix their hair or other tells like that before they walk past you

Book stores is somewhere where even shy can easily have an interesting conversation. Like all you need is to know a common book or author and you can have a genuine conversation, that both people enjoy

Maybe, maybe not, who knows. I don't think about it too much, but I am still curious about why men avoid eye contact with me. And sometimes if I make eye contact with a guy he looks away immediately. 🤔 I've been told I have a resting bitch face but I didn't know it was that bad.

Yeah! Hm, that's what I'm not sure of. The other day I had this elderly lady staring at me with a facial expression which told me "disgust, anger or disappointment". And when I walk past girls they look at me, sometimes they look at me twice. They even tell their friends to look at me which makes me feel like they are making fun of me.
I have pale skin, it might be it. Here where I live being tan is the beauty standard, but I have really pale skin and dark long hair. It's natural for me and I have a RBF so I might look like a ghost to some people lol. A kid told me once that I look like a vampire or ghost because of how pale I am and how dark hair I have.

You're right! Tanning is not natural for me, my skin turns red and itchy. I might become a little darker but I'm still pale even though I've had a natural tan LOL.
No I'm actually from Scandinavia! Where are you from?

I am from Greece and we usually have some pale girls here or just very white but some are tanned
