Am I wrong for being mad that he got a bigger tattoo than me on Mothers Day?

My husband had a plan to get tattoos on Mothers Day, where I choose his and he choose mine. He is far more picky than I am so where I didn't give him any ideas for me, he chose placement and ideas for his. I designed his tattoo myself.

So we got out to the tattoo parlor on Mothers Day and at this point neither of us knew what the other person chose. Well.. in the end, he ended up with a $250 forearm piece and I ended up with a $25 rose on my wrist.

My friend seems to think I'm being over the top dramatic about it because if I wanted something bigger, I should have just said something or helped him choose my tattoo. But the thing is, he chose the size of his so i naturally assumed he was going to get me something around the same size. I also put a lot more thought in to his tattoo, which leads me to believe he did this solely for himself while using the excuse of doing something for me on Mothers Day. Am I wrong to be upset about this?
