Why do I get turned off when a guy acts Intrested towards me?

I can like a guy or be neutral towards him but if he shows active intrest in me, I immediately don't want him anymore. Does anyone else relate?

It seems like, If you like the thought, or the fantasy, if you will, of a person liking you but once it becomes true. You freeze and the fear of rejection sets in. You immediately reject them and the notion of them like you. All in order to guard your heart. Ask yourself, why dont you feel you deserve to be with someone who wants you? Have you faced any ostracization or rejection in the past when you tried to be your authentic self? And fear of that same instance taking place again?

Do some self reflection to see if there's something there and dont shame yourself for the answer you come across. Acknowledge it and just think about what steps you can take to overcome it. Since everyone deserves to be with someone who likes them back.
