Ok, real talk. A lot of guys, especially young, inexperienced guys, are thick skulled in terms of relationships. I've had my friends have a girl lead them into a side room alone and not get the hint until years later.

The real trick is to find reasons to be close to them. Figure out what he likes to do, what his hobbies are. Pick up those hobbies, or activities. Chat about them and eventually proposed doing them together. Proximity breeds intimacy.

Don't be overly aggressive, but eventually, when you're both alone somewhere and have got to the point of familiarity, bring up the idea of relationships and if they're receptive, ask quietly what if you were together.

I knew I found my girl at your age. She was into Supernatural, so I watched some episodes, asked her to explain some things about it and eventually we got close enough we'd watch them together platonically. Then, one day, she was leaning on me and I confessed, she said yes, laid her head in my lap as we watched and it was great from there.

Sadly, not often, because often a guy will think if she is acting THAT interested, is this a set up? Does she have some sinister ulterior motive? Especially in your high school teen age years. I am not saying he is right to think that, in fact he is often wrong about that too, but paranoia is real.
