Why most guys don't like kpop or bts?

Some will say they look like girls or make a joke saying they are gays but making joke of sexuality is not a joke. And they don't understand their music maybe more..

Because it's girly/gay? I teach in South Korea and even most males over 12 don't like K-Pop and K-Pop isn't even considered effeminate/girly/beta/gay in South Korea obviously, like it is by Western standards.

I WILL say this though. BTS' "Boy With Luv", as a song, slaps though. I'll give an exception to that one. "Dynamite" is hot garbage, though. BTS have disbanded, so it doesn't matter anymore, anyway.

Haha no they are on break not disband and they just release new song name " bad decisions" and for dynamite I think we all have different taste like I really love dynamite and boy with luv tho!! So that's the reason why I'm stanning them. I respect ur opinion tho 🙂

But my evidence for this simply look at Justin BieberMen and women like a different music for the most part.


There’s a masculine and feminine music I know that sounds sexist and evil or whatever But if you want proof just look at Justin Bieber and his fan base for a bit. That’s right all Justin Bieber’s fans were teenage girls because that was music that teenage girls liked not music teenage boys would like. That’s really all there is to it guys and girls have different tastes And oddly enough there’s actually a genetic disposition related to that. Guys are naturally aggressive and therefore prefer more aggressive things while women are naturally less aggressive therefore there tastes are going to be less aggressive as well And that’s why the Metallica Fanbase is mostly men.




K-pop isn’t exactly known for being incredibly aggressive which makes it more pleasing for women and less pleasing for men.

Some kpop is good, as with any popular music, it can be any genre, so it can be any quality. Psy's gangnam style is technically kpop, and that was liked to the point of becoming a meme.

I wouldn't say they were gay. Effeminate but not necessarily gay. Men typically score higher in assertiveness, and I think that plays some part in musical preference, choosing music that has more aggressive or dominant undertones.

I like heavy metal. I can appreciate their choreography, but the music sounds too samey, I prefer the variety in metal

I just don't prefer their music. I am more into 80s rock, rap and hip hop. Thats just not my taste

I grew up on country, classic rock, bluegrass , hard rock and folk music, the stuff you are talking about, to me, is garbage and doesn’t even hit my radar, i had to look up who you were talking about, a bunch of Chinese girlyboys.

I think a lot of guys like Kpop, they just might be more into the female groups. And Kpop as a genre still isn't super popular among the west, even in women.
