Please read details, Why do these guys skip out on the bill?

I am not sure why, but this has happened to me quite few times.

For the most part I pay for my own drinks, buying one at a time. When I say mostly, with friends we take turns buying. I also try not to allow men to buy me drinks because I find it rude to accept a drink when I have zero intention of giving them my attention. I dress for the atmosphere but not too over the top and I have never been a person who wears too much make-up.. no fake lashes or hair or any work done..

So the situation I keep finding myself in is.. Where men have left me to pay thier drinks.. These are men that are strangers that I have had a friendly conversation with while waiting to order or recieve my drink. There is no proposition that I am paying or that they are. They get their drink and then tell the bartender I will take care of their bill. (I don't pay their bill, ever.)

Why does this keep happening? Am I ugly? Am I pretty? Are they just looking to scam someone? Is this a revenge on women because of some other girl? I am so confused..

I've heard of women doing that a lot but never a man. Bar etiquette in the UK is totally different though. No such thing as a tab in British bars/pubs either unless you are a regular. We pay for the drink there and then, usually before you get the drink or as it's served. In any case, the man in this situation would automatically be the one assumed to pay, unless the female says differently.

I'd just not accept a drink or just pay for your own though. I've never bought anyone else a drink in my life (partner aside of course) including friends. It all gets way too messy.

Maybe they are doing a drink and dash. They were talking to you so the bar tenders try to collect from you.
Or scamming the bar. The guy orders a drink and says he's expecting his girlfriend shortly. When you chat with him and he leaves, you're assumed to be the girlfriend.

You probably said or did something to piss them off and they were too classy to bring it up or argue with you over it. I know I've done the same thing to women who annoyed me. Or some chick yelling #TeamHeard to me out of the blue.

What are you confused about? Start standing for yourself and shut that shit down. I don't understand how that keeps happening to you. I've never had an unauthorized drink on any of my bar tabs my whole life.
