Guy's Behavior

What should I do about this situation?

This guy that was never my type started liking a while ago while he was in his 3 yr toxic on & off relationship he never acted on it but I noticed the signs he would compliment me a lot & he knew every little detail about me. This is probably because of my dad & him are close. He probably told him about me. The girl hurt him real real bad & then she broke up with him. He cried & it broke him. We grew closer & started talking. Every time we talk we blush, smile, laugh, & compliment each other. All of a suddenly 2 weeks into talking he ghosted me. I ask him why & he told me because of how he doesn’t want to betray my dads trust, because of his ex hurting him, & he went on about how great of a girl I am. We sorted that out & he ghosted me again we talked about it & he said he is not ready for a relationship & he doesn’t want to hurt & lead me on. I was mad & he stated I don’t understand cause I’ve never been in a relationship. We remained friends after that but we still couldn’t stop flirting or being around each other. We have very strong feelings for each other & we always look out for each other. He told his favorite cousin & friends all about me. Someone told me that they never seen him smile at anyone the way he smiles at me. When he sees me no matter what’s going on he stops & talks to me. I have to fight my feelings for him & I have tried to move on by ignoring him because it hurts not being with him but I can’t because we literally always find our way back to each & gravitate to each other. He gets sad when I ignore him. I can’t get him out of my head. He spends most of his time hanging with his friends, brothers, & family. He got jealous about me & this guy flirting & almost hooking up. What irritates me is that he only talks to me in person at work. He doesn’t call/text or plan hangouts outside of work. He answers my calls quick & he only answers my text when it’s important. He used to text me a lot but I guess it’s cause he doesn’t want to lead me on.
What should I do about this situation?
