Why would a tiktoker block me just for not agreeing with one thing they said in a tiktok video?

I've been watching this tiktok page of this married couple where the wife keeps asking the husband for dating advice for the female audience. Bruh i been posting positive comments today and just now i left a comment saying 'nah i disagree with that. Im very traditional...'... I was being polite. I was simply disagreeing because they said men who wanna be a sole provider are just controlling and abusive. Minutes later i go to their page and i can't view anything there. It seems i was blocked.

Reeeallllyy? This just shows me how these social media influencers or wannabe ifluencers and gurus only want comments that act like they are giving gospel and nobody can disagree or criticize anything they say. This changes my opinion on relationship advice givers online now.

I lost respect now for this couple and now im on the defense for any other potential phony people online who only want their ass kissed.

So-called influencers on social media but also anyone that thinks that he/she has a little broader knowledge on a given topic does not like to be contradicted. This is not something that only applies to social media.

Influencers don't like to have negative comments or people that contradict them, even in a polite manner, because it gives the impression that they have faults and that anyone posting a negative comment can become a potential threat to their role of influencer.

It is like in politics. To be successful, you have to remove any source of potential conflict. A negative comment could motivate others to post something negative as well and that is not what influencers want.

People have committed suicide for losing members on social media. That is indicative how bad this type of media is.

TikTok does not protect freedom of speech. They are supreme wokeness of the left. doesn't matter if you just state your opinion in a respectful way or not they will remove your comment and maybe even your profile of ot continues.

I wouldn’t block you. But I disagree. I wouldn’t mind being the sole provider for my future wife and kids. But I see it as an honour to provide and protect them. I’m definitely not abusive. Every guy is slightly controlling. But ultimately I’d wanna worship my wife.

that's what people do online. it's not enough to just ignore an opinion you disagree with. you have to try to stop them from uttering their opinion. that's what cancel culture is all about. silencing opinions you don't like.
