He blocked me after a “fight”, what should I do?

I say “fight” because we both stated it was not an argument. I asked him when he goes out of town to check in once in a while to make sure he’s ok. He told me “don’t tell me what to do”. That really hurt so I responded with respect and told him that I didn’t like that.
he didn’t respond but later replied to my Instagram post asking where I was. I ignored it. He asked why ignored him and I told him that what he said to me earlier was disrespectful. He apologized but I told him that i didn’t feel respected. He made excuses for the whole thing. I told him that I’m just asking him for better communication, but I told him that “I’m okay, I just took what I needed to take from that”. He ignored me. The next day he blocked me on everything. Should I just move on.

You need to give some context as to who you are to each other. How long have you known each other, what's the nature of the relationship, are you boyfriend/girlfriend, does he go out of town often, stuff like that. There's zero history here.

We have been dating for a month. He goes out of town almost every weekend so I asked if he could just communicate when he can.

Why does he go out of town - work or pleasure?
Does he feel a bit suffocated and wants two days off from contact?
Is his behaviour when he's gone secretive?
Has he given you any legit reasons not to trust him?
Do either of you have an issue with temper?

Most people aren't worried about the other person's safety, as much as they are worried about their partner having too much fun without them, or cheating.

I personally (and my husband feels the same) like to not text constantly, so that our time apart can actually break the same old patterns, and when we do see each other hopefully we have something to talk about, stories to tell.
But most young people today are not like this. You grow up tied to technology and it's a safety/security blanket for you, to always feel connected. Any time not in contact causes anxiety for some.

I'd suggest you consider all of these things (you don't need to answer them with me), in trying to assess, objectively, what is fair and reasonable.
He shouldn't have blocked you over this. That's emotional and immature. But it's also very common, as a punishment for when someone feels they have been wronged by the other.

You are right‼️ He is neither possess a courteous or generous nature. He should just contact. You are into him much more than he is to you. Does he have Mom snd parent control issues ⁉️
