Long story short: my coworker and I were talking last night and I wanted to shift the topic about something not related to work. So I asked him if could talk to him about this one thing before I clock out and he was ok with it. By the time I left, he needed to take his lunch and he said he wanted to continue the convo. I asked him if it’s ok to text him about it when he finishes lunch, and he said yes and that it’s also ok to talk to him about it over the phone. I called him later about it and I noticed he was paying attention and asking questions about the situation, and offered some advice. I thought it was really sweet. I just wanted to talk to him about this and hear his opinion. We couldn’t finish the convo since he had to go pick up his nephew from the airport, but he said we can continue the convo today after work. What do you guys think?
