Ok, so short story. I take the bus, and well this guy I don't know, waved his hand so that I could go ahead of him when ascending the bus. I was reluctant to go ahead, since I fear he has different intentions and just wants to stare at my rear, so I let him pass. The same story occurred again. What should I do, any thoughts?

I always have the woman walk up the stairs first, while I always descend the stairs first. Why? Because if she were to fall, I would have a better chance at catching her and keeping her from getting hurt (or AS hurt as she might otherwise be).

It's the same reason that if we're walking on the sidewalk, I always walk on the side closest to traffic, and keep her on the inside.

If you're worried about people looking at your ass, then select different clothing to wear. But there is a protocol for many things that has everything to do with men providing you protection (even if you are unaware of it) and nothing to do with looking at your ass.

1. Because most women are smaller and lighter than me so I don't want to knock them over by pushing ahead.

2. I want to check out their rear or even look up their skirt if I can.

Getting on the bus I wouldn’t be worried, but I usually prefer if men go up actual stairs before me because I’ve caught people looking before and it makes me really uncomfortable especially if I have a skirt on, so I try to insist on them going first.

The more I learn about women the more it seems best to just treat them like men. It is clear people don't actually want gentlemen type. Women just want to be completely equal. I'm just going to treat them like men I can't keep up with everything else. Too much to learn.
