Why do My Male friend Get jealous, yet he is seeing someone else?

Hi.. I am 27 year old woman single , i am friends wid this 20year old at work. since we work together we got close. we chat all the time , but lately my friend is acting weird he kissed me out of the blue. He told me his vibing with a 33 year old woman, He knew her before my time. Which made me angry, cos by kissing me was disrespectful. I ain't going to be a reason for woman's tears.

So i decided to talk to him about his behavior which is unacceptable When he is chatting now its one word answers , when i asked him whats wrong he said dats how he chat he gt someone , he doesn't flirt wth other females. so i pulled away cos his behavior is hot and cold. The whole problem is at work , he get jealous when i talk to other guys or if my ex is mentioned, Friday he asked me if i am desperate to talk to my ex. What do i do wid this boy... he be so rude and insult me all the time.

His behavior is confusing me... i really need ur pplz advice... for the time being i am keeping my distance from him... never spoke to him at all this weekend... but go work obviously have to talk.
