So this guy 'X' used to like me, I don't know if he was actually interested or was just desperate. i rejected him about 1 year ago. later recently i matched with a guy 'Y' on a dating app who happens to be X's best friend. Y says he knows about X's crush on me and he still keeps talking to me yet he doesn't really flirt directly. Later another of X's best friend 'K' starts hitting on me on Instagram and now I'm really confused. Are they doing this together for fun or are they actually interested? Y says X doesn't know about him talking to me while I don't know if X is aware of K hitting on me. i really thought guys took the bro code seriously (even if X was just desperate) and these guys have been best friends for years now.

It it his his best friend then you are setting yourself up for a big mess. There are plenty of men out there but getting involved with this is likely going to escalate the situation to a point where you wish that you did not know either one of them.. I t will definitely backfire if your main intent is too get even in some way with your ex boyfriend. I encourage you to on pass this one. I have seen one of these blow up and it involve the police and a misdemeanor. It will not work out well for any of you. Good luck with it all. Am I making sense or rambling?

no i mean the first guy was never my boyfriend, i never like him that way and now i guess he has moved on, but two of his friends seem interested in me now. its just weird cuz i thought they wouldn't be as their best friend used to like me

It is too much. Certainly, you can find a guy outside of a current friend group that associates with one another. It is up to you but guys who will do this would not make it pass a mother interviewing. I wouldn't get involved but that's just me... they already know how you are in bed if I am understanding this correctly.
