I'm 22 years old and I have a boyfriend who turned 30 yesterday and we have a 2 year old daughter together. We were at my boyfriend's birthday party.
One of his older friends (around 40 with a girlfriend!) talked to me a lot alone, he always leaned really close to me as if he couldn't hear me well. At the end of the night he called a cab for me and asked me on instagram if i got home safe. Next day he wrote again: "good morning. is the party boy alive?🤪" and we talked a bit again.
He said that the way I talked about things were so much different than my age group would, but in a good way. And that he thinks that I don't belong there (in parties with my age group).
He said something like "Our talk has been a little short".

Maybe he is just nice to me? Or he liked me? Is it weird that we started to chat?
I felt so much chemistry, I can't stop thinking about it, of course I would never do anything, but maybe it was mutual then?

Could be some flirting, I’m not quite sure, but in any case I’d stop responding if I were you. I know it’s harmless right now but you said you already feel chemistry, and that’s exactly what could make the situation escalate. If it were your boyfriend even casually chatting like this with another woman, I would guess you’d be pretty upset.
