Am I overthinking?

So I have a friend at work that I hang around. We make jokes, play around but he is married. He picks on me a lot, has even given me a nickname and teases me around others. Lately, he's started acting oddly like refusing to talk about his personal life. We work with his wife, and yes I know this is odd but he won't say I love you to her or be affectionate if he knows I'm around just passing through. He acts guilty if he gets too friendly with another female around me. Am I over thinking?

The way you write it makes it seem as though he's interested in you. But if he is, don't go out with him. It will never work out. He will never leave his wife no matter how much he seems to value how you view him. Wait until he divorces his wife, then go out with him. What, have you heard from other women that he flirts with them too when you're not around? Maybe he just doesn't flirt with women when there are other women around.

Husband and Wife in Business together seemingly would keep it very formal. That’s a huge risk on his part. They both own the company. It sounds like overthinking to me 🤷🏻‍♂️
