So my best friend who is also my friend with benefits now of 2 years, has been acting differently towards me the past few months. He's also my roommate. I keep noticing him looking at me smiling when we watch tv together. Plays "I love you" songs in the car when we are driving. One night during sex, he cupped my cheek with his hand and stroked my lips with his thumb, which he's never done before. We don't sleep in the same bed, but sometimes I'll come home to find him curled up in my bed sleeping. He's also been leaning his head on me a lot lately and hugging me more before bed. He remembers little things we've talked about months ago if not 2 years ago. Him acting more affectionate now is throwing me off. Am I reading too much into this, or is he falling in love with me?

Ok now he is offering to take me out to a sitdown restaurant that I've never been to before. He says he's going to stay single for a while and also encouraging me to stay single. He let me kiss during sex and he grabbed the back of my head and pulled me in closer to the kiss as he kissed me harder like he's been wanting to kiss me for a while but hasn't. Opinions please.
