Why do men give women dirty looks?

A coworker of mine I was friendly with started to give me a death stare one day (he was chatty with other coworkers so he was not generally in a bad mood that day). Ever since then he has been trying to avoid me.

Do you have any idea why he might do that? I never flirted with him, I don't talk too much nor do I gossip, everyone is happy with my work.

I only personally give people dirty looks if they’re annoying me.

There is men and women who don’t like someone or are unfriendly who just give dirty look.

If one person gives you a dirty look. Not the end of the world. If many people are. You might be doing something annoying, invade someone space, etc.

But I did not invade anyones space. In fact, people even tell me that I'm too reclusive and timid.

Maybe because the other people he was chatting w told him things about you that he didn’t like. Whether it was true or not he chose to believe them that’s why he’s acting this way. Unless you recently started dating someone to which he found out now he’s mad cause he likes you but now you ducked that all up for him lol so that could be why he’s mad as well.

But would you Really give someone a death stare if you like Them? Even if you had no Chance to Date her?

I wouldn’t personally. I don’t know about him, I’m not him. But seems as though someone may have told him something cause if he just turns out to be that way all on his own something is wrong w him. Even if someone told him something about you something is still wrong if he’s just going by what they said rather than talking to you.

Because he doesn't really like you, or he heard something about you that paints you in a negative light in his eyes (office gossip, maybe?)

You never know. Someone may have gossiped about you or he may have gotten a bad feeling over something minor

by the way it was my boss who behaved like that after we were going for a walk and having small talk.
