Guys, what comes to mind if a girl says she has been single for 2 to 3 years? Is it a good thing, is it a bad thing?

Some people I've spoken to treat it like a good thing, others are more there's something wrong with you you haven't dated that long. I am happy with it because I have standards and am not interested in getting involved with anyone who simply says hello (like many women nowadays & comically they complain when the guy turns out to be a douche).
