Guys, what are some unfiltered reasons you'd cheat on your girlfriend?

I don't cheat - and I've had a few very easy opportunities to do so.

For example, I had a party one time, and I put a drunk girl in my bedroom to sleep it off while I resumed hosting. A few hours later, the party ended, and we drove people home. She was the last one left, and I went in to wake her up and drive her home, and she had gotten into my bed (she'd been on top originally), and when I woke her up, she was naked, and tried to pull me into bed with her. If I was a cheater, it wouldn't get any better than that as far as an opportunity went, right? But I got her dressed and took her home.

I passed up on a few opportunities like that over the years. I could have gotten away with it, but I still didn't do it. But most men don't have my morals and values - it was not EASY to pass on those opportunities, because part of being male means having a very strong drive to spread your seed, and so it's VERY difficult to resist such temptations, and I don't think any man can resist them indefinitely, which is why men who are very attractive/popular virtually always cheat. They simply have too much opportunity, and that can't be resisted forever.

Baseline: I was immature.


Cause: My ex was fucking her sisters husband, even while with me. So yes she was cheating.


Effect: All this being said I let it get to me and instead of thinking clearly to simply break up, I thought cheating back was a better route. It isn’t. Cheating is wrong regardless of the circumstances

I cheated on my girlfriend once. We were together for over 3 years. She was saving herself for marriage and I was also a virgin. I met a girl at a party and it was just a crime of opportunity. I regret this.

I never would. I would always tell her first. If she stays she stays, that's on her. If she leaves she leaves.

I don't know why more men don't do this. Most women will just stay.
