Some guys are so complicated. why does my crush behaves like this?

my crush used to make eyecontact with me but not talk to me. he even tried to make me jealous by flirting with other girls in front of me. but when i gave no attention to him he became sad. he even got jealous seeing me with other guy who was helping me in studies. and when his friends (guya) talk to me he always joins our conversation.

why does he behave like this?

I just think he's a little nervous , I'd honestly just make it far more obvious , and go as far trying to set something up with your crush , he is young , he needs a push , I used to be like this when I was much younger , that changed over time ( full circle ) , so give him a chance , dont read too much into the other stuff.
