Why in traditional times were men supposed to give their seats up on public transport for women?

Back in days where men worked and women didn’t. Why should a man whose working not be able to sit down when there is women who never worked? I don’t mean a woman whose pregnant. That I understand.

But if men are working all day long…. Shouldn’t women be giving their seats up for men?

Back then it was considered an honour and privilege to take care of a weak and lesser powerful person. It's why woman put up with the terrible pains of child birth for a child that might never pay them back for the service them offer to him or her. Woman want to love somebody else so badly they are willing to suffer terrible pain to get that privilege.

It's not about lazy and weak women. Don't you get our roles in life? Back in the day thousands of men went to war to fight and die to protect women/children/their family. It was just what you were supposed to do. Take care and protect women and children, it proves you are a man.

Look up all the work that went into running a house in the 40s. It was WORK. Why are you comparing them to today's women? I already said women today ain't shit. Men went to war to make sure nothing happened to their FAMILYS. So no other country takes over and hurts or kills them. And if you actually knew anything, you would know that is when women started to go to work for the first time and they were the ones working in factory's making the bullets and weapons for the war.
