Why does my guy friend not like guys looking at me. Jealous or protective?

Like he weirdly looks at them as they look at me till they notice him and take their eyes off of me then he’ll try to distract me from it

I don't know why he would be jealous, he can look at you all he wants. I would guess that he's interested in you and just doesn't know how to tell you

Hmmm I guess it wouldn’t be protective because looking in broad day light is harmless. I just find it bizarre how the guys sometimes genuinely stop looking after he stares back.

If not your boyfriend, jealous. It’s also a red flag. I would question any pursuits going forward. If you do become exclusive, that behavior can turn violent

Guys will admire beauty and thats as far as it goes. he's getting not just protective but possessive. Keep an eye out for that its not a good impression to set when dating.

I personally don’t care if guys look at me until it becomes blantantly staring then it’s creepy but usually they look then they’re off going about their day or looking at something / someone else no big deal but I guess this guy is over stepping since he’s just a friend

The only other person who stares at guys who look at me is my dad but sometimes my brother does it. But I realise that their reason is just cause they’re protective. I guess this dude really likes me
