Why do my guy friend and his friends stare at me all the time if he said he does not like me in that way?

he said he did not like me in that way.. but now its almost a year since that happened and he stares at me and looks away when i catch him, his friends will also stare at me, and sometimes walk right behind me...
i walked past by my guy friend and his friends and i heard a whistle.
his brother will smile and stare and will let him know if i am passing by
my guy friend is also really shy..

It sounds like you are picking up on something, but you can't do much about it if he keeps insisting that it isn't that way... Do you like him? He might think that you don't like him that way so trying to save himself from the rejection that he thinks is coming. If you do like him, tell him and see what happens 😊

well i told him that i liked him and said he did not want to sound harsh and all, and then said he does not like me " in that way"

he even told me that he had a crush on me before in class but i taught i did not hear it properly and politely asked what he said "nevermind" so he had a crush on me before i told him

I do think that he likes you. It's hard to say for certain why he is acting like that, but if he won't admit that he likes you then there's not really much you can do about it... Maybe he thinks he's not good enough for you. There's definitely something that he's not telling you about. Don't play his games and if someone else comes around that you like or that likes you, don't wait up for this guy to make up his mind because you can't really tell what he's up to. He knows that you like him so if he comes around and quits acting like that he will let you know 😊

Ohhh... I'm not sure, that could be it. If you think that might be the problem, just find a way to mention that you are ok with gay people in front of him in a conversation. That might clear up things.

Well he could be lying... Or he could just really not be interested, but that doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't think you're attractive

Ok so they're just harassing you... That's not ok, I got the impression they were all staring and whatnot because they thought you were cute (which they still might) but that's not ok. He might have a crush on you but why would his friends say stupid crap like you're hairy? I'm not sure what that proves. Also curious how they would know haha
