Why was my guy friend staring at me? I caught him?

He was standing in near proximity and was staring at me while I was looking elsewhere then I caught him and asked him what happened? He just kept staring for a few more seconds then shook his head and said nothing. Do you think he was just zoned out? But it's kind of weird to stare at someone like that when you're right in front of them...

I've caught him staring twice before but I'm not sure what that means. Both the times he just kept staring 😅 I wasn't even looking at him in any of these instances.

He may have literally been thinking about nothing at all and zoned out ik I do it often and guys when checking a girl out are very bad at hiding it when they get caught

If you repeatedly catch him staring or looking you, it's probably because he likes you and wants to sneak a look at your beautiful face while your looking elsewhere.
