Guys, why is the guy that talked with another girl & me at the same time but now is dating that other girl looking at me? Does he miss our friendship?

he walked into an office hours class that I was in and he sat in a seat that was one row to the right and one roe infront of me but he faced his body towards me the entire time. When I was talking to my friend in front of me I could tell that he kept glancing at me to see if I would look back.. he is the one that didn't want to be more than friends and got all weird about staying friends after I expressed to him that I liked him by trying to hold his hand. He said he was interested in someone else even though he was obviously flirting with me by taking off his shirt and asking me to go in a jacuzzi with him alone on a rainy night and constantly blushing at me and gaming at me with deep looks. Does he miss me or something? He said he wants to move on but like we didn't even date so i don't understand why he said that

Yes, he misses you and your friendship. Here's the thing: all those things that made you guys enjoy each other before you expressed your like have not gone away. He's an idiot for pulling the weird/awkward stuff -- it's only weird or awkward if he tells himself that. So, yeah, he misses you. His loss.

Do you really think a guy who is flirting with you by taking his shirt off has much too him? It is likely he flirts with everyone now and really enjoys the attention. He probably has realized he made the wrong decision but he does not miss you in a goodhearted way. He misses the opportunity to get close that he passed up.
