Why would a guy randomly ask what your plans are for the weekend on a Thursday?

It seems like he is trying to figure out a way to involve you in his personal life. We do not randomnly ask, what you are doing on any night unless we have a serious interest in getting to know you better.

Whether it is sex driven or relationship driven is an unknown. Meeting at a bar sounds like, "let's see what she's like after a buzz." I am guessing and probably jumping the gun a little bit but I am a guy. And, Thursday is like the happy hour beginning the weekend and some sex would be great way to cap off the week.

Make yourself available and see where he goes with it. This is a great opportunity to see what he is about. You are in the position of power here. Go for it...

He could very well be not at all interested in you, can do friendships with girls. If that is the case, then no worries.
