He’s messing up his friendships with other men. Is there no way of talking sense to him?

My friend *Jack* told me he’s decided not to bother with his friends and mutual acquaintances of my bestie *Nina’s* and mine, Ben and Steven. We both got sick of them pursuing us when we weren’t interested. *Jack* supposedly got sick of them constantly talking about us. *Nina* and I discussed it and we agreed that he won’t easily find other friends and that Ben and Steven would move on. Steven has already given up and Ben’s got a new girlfriend. I’m worried that he’ll end up without any friends. Is there nothing I can do to try to make him see sense?

Don’t become part of the problem. Be there to pick up the pieces after he burns his bridges. He doesn’t need a mother or someone that seems to be against him in her thoughts and point of view.
Be quiet as it relates to this subject. Pick up the pieces when he realizes that he’s messed up

I'm not understanding what the conflict is... who are you worried about not having any friends, and what is he doing that makes you think he won't have any friends?

He just tends to annoy lots of other men and scares women off by hitting on them all.

Okay. And have you ever tried to directly explain to him that that is what he is doing? Sometimes people don't realize how their behavior looks to and impacts others.
