Why should a man give a whore a chance at a relationship with them?

My guy friend & I were talking and he said he’d never give a whore a chance at a relationship. I responded with what if she agrees to give up those lifestyle ways. Than he said even if she does stop those ways she’ll always be a whore. Than he proceeded to ask me why should he give a whore a chance? I wasn’t sure what to say.

A woman who has genuinely given up her "for the streets" ways won't even raise any concerns.

The big problem women have is that they often aren't selective enough about their friends. If your friends are thotty, I have no choice but to assume that you are thotty too.

There are men out there who'd be more compromising. Like your friend, I don't think I could.
Just like women have preferences, so do men. In his case, the laundry list requires that she's not a whore.
I understand that some people can't wrap their minds around this, and I know it may sound unreasonable, but at the same time one could argue that women, in general, preferring +6 foot guys is mind boggling.

Why not? Assuming no disease risk. People take lots of different jobs for lots of different reasons. I'm not going to judge sex work as somehow less moral than working in the defense industry.

Saying a whore can't not be a whore is stupid, in my opinion. There's no reason she couldn't stop, and there's no reason she couldn't want to stop either.
